The 37th edition of ATLETICAGENEVE took place in near-perfect conditions. A clear day and temperatures approaching 30 degrees, but not stifling. Wind conditions were good, but sometimes shifty and slightly exceeding 2 m/s, the only factor that prevented some great performances from being recognized. On the day of the meeting, it was ranked 21st in the world with a score of 84,618 points (83,433 results score + 1,185 participation score), making it the second-best performance in its history (the record dates back to 2022 with 84,960 (83,570 results score + 1,390 participation score), earning it the 36th best ranking in the world and the best Bronze meeting in the world, in terms of results.
This edition saw the participation of 457 athletes representing 55 countries (Switzerland was present with 110 athletes, Great Britain with 59, France with 37, the Netherlands with 35, Belgium with 32, Italy with 30, South Africa with 12, as well as Sweden, Germany, then Spain with 11, Portugal and Australia with 10, etc.).
As usual, and thanks to its vocation to bring together athletes from all walks of life and With internationally renowned athletes as well as emerging athletes (discovering talents and stars of tomorrow), the meeting boasted some rather extraordinary figures, such as:
- 83 SB (seasonal personal bests), representing 18% of the athletes
- 63 PB (personal bests), representing 14% of the athletes!
4 new absolute national records.
- Senegal's new 100m record: Mamadou FALL SARR, in 10.16 (w 0.4) [1152 points]
- Romania's new 400m record: Sorin DRINGO in 44.88 [1188 points]
- Ireland's new men's 4x100m record: Michael FARRELLY, Bori AKINOLA, Marcus LAWLER, Israel OLATUNDE in 38.92 [1155 points]
- Slovakia's new women's 400m hurdles record: Emma ZAPLETALOVÁ in 54.24 [1197 points]
3 new national youth records.
- The new French U18 national record in the High Jump: Charlotte Sorin (2008), with a time of 1.80 [1023 points]
- The new Swiss U20 national record in the 100m: Ashik Begum (2007), with a time of 10.42 [1066 points]
- The new Swiss U23 national record in the women's 4x100m relay: Chloé Rabac, Fabienne Hoenke, Iris Caligiuri, Soraya Becerra with a time of 43.55 [1155 points]

Sibilio 48.23 EL, Cisse 9.96
Alessandro Sibilio is back as he posted a European lead of 48.23 over 400m hurdles, winning ahead of Germans Joshua Abuaku (48.67) and Emil Agyekum (48.73 PB) at the Atletica Geneve (WACT Bronze). Arthur Cisse of the Ivory Coast clocked 9.96 (1.4) in the 100m over Emmanuel Eseme who got NR for Cameroon of 10.01, and Netherland’s sprinters Raphael Bouju 10.02, huge PB and number 3 in European lists and Taymir Burnet 10.11 PB. Belgium’s Hanne Claes won the 400m hurdles in 54.75 PB ahead of Viivi Lehikoinen of Finland (54.95), Ukraine’s Viktoria Tkachuk (54.95) and Cathelijn Peeters of Netherlands (54.97 PB). Botswana dominated the men’s 400m, Leungo Scotch 44.82 PB over U20 Collen Kebinatshipi (44.98) and Liemarvin Bonevacia of Netherlands (45.30). Czech Lada Vondrova topped the women’s 400m in 51.14 over Susanne Gogl-Walli of Austria (51.19) and Great Britain’s Laviai Nielsen (51.43). Anvar Anvarov leaped to NR for Uzbekistan with 822 (0.9) over World U20 silver medallist Alejandro Antonio Parada of Cuba 810 (1.3). National records also in the 110m hurdles, for Senegal’s Louis Francois Mendy 13.34 (1.0) winning ahead of Hassane Fofana 13.47 and Jeremie Lararaudeuse 13.55, NR for Mauritius. Great Britain’s Charles Dobson won the 200m in 20.19 (1.3), second time in Europe this year, over Taymir Burnet (20.36). France’s Laeticia Bapte posted PB of 12.78 (0.5) to win over Liberia’s Ebony Morrison (12.86). Excellent jumps for US Tara Davis-Woodhall 695 (1.4) and Dominica’s Thea Lafond 14.47 (0.6). Belgium’s Rani Rosius won the 100m in 11.24 (0.0), while Melissa Guttschmidt posted the same time in B final with 11.24 (1.9) PB over Briton Nia Wedderburn-Goodison 11.33 PB and European U20 lead. Sinagpore’s Veronica Pereira won the 200m in 22.84 (0.6) over Netherland’s Tasa Jiya (22.88 PB). Other victories for Poland’s Aleksandra Smiech 71.14 PB (hammer), Salome Lang 190 (high jump), US Luke Winder 555 (pole vault), Andrei Toader of Roumania 20.51 (shot put), Canada’s Kieran Lumb 3:37.61 (1500m) and Anita Horvat of Slovenia 2:00.70 (800m). Fast 4x100m relay times for Switzerland 38.79 (Mancini, Mumenthaler, Svensson, Guentert) over Netherlands (Paulina, Burnet, Van Gool, Bouju) 38.82, and Switzerland women 43.22 (Weiss, Kora, Frey, Buergi) over Netherlands (43.32).
