Why is it so important for us to provide an amazing opportunity for young local athletes to participate in a big international event?
We are convinced that lighting a spark in the eyes of these young athletes will keep them lit for a lifetime. There can be no great athletics if we don't know how to cultivate the little seeds of talent that we have on our own turf.
In any case, it will be an extraordinary, unique and rewarding personal experience. Or maybe it will trigger a passion and a willingness to surpass themselves, as all champions tell when asked. An autograph, a look, a smile, a little encouragement or just being near a champion is enough to start a career and change a life.
In both cases, we will have achieved our objective, but when an athlete tells us that he remembers that race, then we will have the certainty and the pride of having contributed to the creation of values.
